Overview

About the unit

The Technical Assistance Operations Unit turns national hospital policy into practical action at facility level, supporting management teams with planning, systems strengthening and implementation follow-up.

The unit works alongside hospital medical superintendents, matrons and administrators to resolve operational bottlenecks in service delivery, logistics and referral coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Operational planning and implementation support to hospitals and district health management teams
  • Strengthening hospital administration, logistics and service delivery systems
  • Coordination of emergency referral and ambulance dispatch operations
  • Supportive supervision visits and follow-up on agreed action plans
  • Coordination with development partners on operational technical assistance
