Emergency medical technician training concludes in Makeni

Ninety emergency medical technicians and ambulance drivers have completed a two-week refresher certification programme at Makeni Regional Hospital.

The curriculum covered airway management, trauma stabilisation, obstetric emergencies, infection prevention and safe patient transfer. Participants were drawn from all four regions.

Certification is renewed every two years under Directorate policy.
